: : I realize this is a way old post, but I thought I'd drop a line, as I am a visual freak and am obsessed with this topic. : : I, personally, have not done any artwork recently, but if you haven't, you MUST get Gustav Dore's etchings for the entire Commedia AND Peter Greenaway did a VERY bizarre but EXCEEDINGLY cool BBC television special a few years ago with John Geilgud as Virgil which took you through the first few Cantos. I just bought it online.
