I am a Melungeon descendant and researcher. I have some materials on the Melungeons that I can send to anyone who asks (FREE and via e-mail.) This includes some background on the Mediterranean aspects of Melungeon heritage, physical characteristics, common surname list, a LOT of URLs, and some information on 5 inherited Mediterranean illnesses which descendants may have plus much more. In the meantime please see my website noted below for some introductory materials and health info.
