Hello. I decided to write about the theme of war in the works of Fitzgerald. Its much more difficult to find sources, as in work already done on the subject as opposed to finding info on Hemingway and war (as he saw combat and Fitzgerald did not so they both offer very different types of war stories). I will be focusing on four Fitzgerald stories for my paper: The night Before Chancellorsville, Tender is the Night, May Day, and The Great Gatsby. Im not having trouble finding infor for TIDT ot TNBC but for May Day I havent had too much luck. A book entitled A Historical Guide to F Scott Fitzgerald has been very helpful so far. The paper is due in about a month and I plan to start the actual writing this upcoming weekend. Wish me luck and thanks again for your feedback!
