I learned from my Freshman lecturer back in the 80s that the movie of TGG was not a good rendition of TGG & should not be taken as such. I've adopted my professors' attitudes of TGG in one way, but hell, I kind of liked it. I really feel you are better off reading the book --- I am imagining much of what Fitzgerald offers is imagery/sensationalism -ala Shakespeare's 'Romeo & Juliet' or 'Hamlet'.
Please won't you read "Good Night, Sweet Prince" by me to get the Hamletonian references placed in that work?......you can do term papers about it. People ARE people,...THINK about it---really...Fitz knew how to work it. I love him so much for it b/c he LIVED it ...and it killed him. Love, Pam
