Having been in a humanities cl i have been given a crash cousre of sorts in subjects, such as Freud. Having previously read Dostoevsky, i though it interesting to see how visible the ego, id, and super-ego were in his characters. I have also read that freud himself (he lived after dosty), read his novels, and was rather impressed by them and the amount of psycology they contained. I was wondering if anyone knows anything more about the dosty possible impact on freud, and elements of psycology that are present in his novels. I also remember Sarte's exisinceiallism (sorry i have no idea how to spell that) being similar in many aspects (such as the lack of choices being freedom, and beneficial) to the Grand Inquisiter.
