: : Honestly, I see nothing wrong with someone whom loves animals, having more than 1 breed.
: : When did Love start to have boundaries?
: : I also feel that when you attack somebody in a public forum, you should be honest, in putting in all facts and both sides, not just one side that is bias. Present all facts all sides and then let everyone judge it on the merits of the facts!
: WARNING: THIS IS MY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE BUYING A PUPPY FROM DRINGMAN KENNELS. I have been duped by this so-called “Christian” puppy mill! I purchased an Affenpinscher puppy on July 2003 from this kennel and the dog arrived with 2 sets of worms, an extreme case of itching (which requires her to be on medication for the rest of her life) and a herniated umbilical cord. By the 9th month, the puppy was lame in her rear left leg and required immediate surgery for a patellar luxation. The rear right leg will probably also need surgery. The dog weighs 14 lbs., instead of the 7-8 lbs breed standard. My vet bills have so far amounted to $2,717.67, plus, I spent $875.00 for the puppy to which the breeders, Connie & Dennis Dringman, have reimbursed me only $412.64, in spite of our contract that reads, “We guarantee the puppy against any hereditary or congenital disorder that may interfere with the puppy’s ability to lead a normal healthy life”. The Dringman’s have refused to respond to my recent communications and are continuing to breed. BE AWARE!

Nora Castro,
For people interested in the complete story above, please feel free to contact me for the communication information. During one of our past visits Nora informed me her dog was not on allergy medication.
Our written warranty is a replacement warranty, which Nora signed saying she would be responsible for vet bills. I also have communication with her stating she did not want to replace Sacsha, also communication saying Sascha jumped constantly like a jack in the box.
Luxating patellas can be caused by many things.
As far a size goes, this pup was bought with limited registration, not for show or breeding purposes. Right before she was spayed Nora contacted me asking for names of males I had sold in the area, stating if she could find one she would not get her dog spayed.
Nora's last two communications with me have threatened "unpleasant actions". I don't feel I should have to respond to threats.
Nora was offered a replacement puppy in the beginning, and her vet bills were paid for the wormings and the allergy test. She sent me $100 for Christmas stating I was a good breeder.
I also offered her the balance of of $287.36 which would be the full amount she paid for the puppy.
When you buy something at Walmart and it isn't as you expected when you get it home, you either return it for a refund or replacement, but don't get it fixed and then expect Walmart to pay for it.

: : : : : and it turns out she breeds at least six
: : : : : breed of dogs and has multiple litters
: : : : : every month per breed. she sold me a pup
: : : : : with a genetic defect and is willing to
: : : : : take no blame. please do your research
: : : : : and make sure they ask you questions as
: : : : : well. unethical breeders do not ask any
: : : : : questions as to where their pups are going
: : : : : to. i love my papillon, but looks like
: : : : : he has had some trauma at the kennel before
: : : : : coming to me. i am dedicated to stopping
: : : : : unethical breeding practices....
: : : : I think you forgot to mention that you were given the option to purchase the puppy after the hernia was checked by our veterinary, and even offered to be repaired here before shipping. Also you forgot to mention that you wanted a female Papillon from us at a reduced price after you received your male. Also I have four breeds and can furnish many references and any one is welcome to come and meet our puppies.
: :
: : : I am not even going to allow Connie to have to ask for a reference, I am going to just submit it on my own. I have been to this kennel 100's of times, unannounced at all times of the day and night. Each time the place was clean and the dogs were well taken care of. I have done veterinary work with many kennels and also with pet owners who have purchased from kennels. Connie's kennel business is top of the line. Her dogs are very well socialized, well fed, great health and preventative medicine program, and good genetics. Yes, an umbilical hernia is a genetic defect, but is also difficult to entirely remove from a breeding line. It is not life threatening and does not in any way shorten the lifespan of the dog. Also, it's very easy to fix. I have seen puppies from kennels who do not know what a linoleum floor or gr is like and will not walk on those surfaces because they have never been out of their wire bottomed cages. I know pups that will walk in circles because they think the world is only 2 foot square in size because that's all they know. I know of kennels who brag that they are not USDA licensed but that also means they answer to no one and they are required to follow no minimum standards of care with no inspection process to insure this. Connie does. As far as having multiple breeds, did this owner ever consider maybe Connie simply likes more than one breed. Many of my clients own more than one breed and could not choose their favorite. I do not like my tall brown haired daughter more than my short blond haired son (who by the way, was born with two hernias and I did not have my husband put to sleep-haha) On a side note as far as tramatized at the kennel this papillion pup came from-I would caution using such strong slanderous language without knowing the facts. I have seen Connie work with and save the life of puppies that would have died in any other kennel, I have seen the lawn chair that she uses to sleep in the kennel beside the pen of a nervous whelping mother, I've seen the tv camera that shows an image of the pen of a sick or nervous animal in her house so that he/she gets 24 hour care, literally, I have seen Connie's husband put a premature puppy in a sock and hang it around his neck, next to his skin for warmth and take it to work so he can feed it every hour. I can tell of so many more things that would touch any pet owners heart about how well these dogs are cared for. I only wish this owner could see some of the horror stories I have seen and they would appreciate the integrity of Connie's kennel.
