I have a question about AKC papers and I hope someone can help me. I am in the process of finding a dog a home and she's AKC registerable with full registration. She is not show quality and I dont believe in back yard breeding. I was wondering if I could change the registration to limited registration. Can I do this myself or would I have to contact the breeder? I know the sure way she wouldnt be bred is to spay her ; but the local animal shelters have a waiting list of 4 months and the local vets want to charge up to $150 and up and thats kind of expensive considering I'm placing the dog for free. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it :)
