You can't prove a theory - that is why it's called a theory. If you could prove it, it would be a fact. However, there is so much evidence pointing to the truth of the theory of evolution, that it would be illogical not to believe it.

Science has no interest in proving religion wrong, since it is only concerned with the material world. Religion should concern itself solely with the 'spiritual' - and leave science to the scientists.

No, Calvin, it doesn't say anything of the kind. It makes NO pronouncements about spiritual possibilities.

'Spiritual growth' necessitates the existence of 'spirit' - which is once again a matter of faith.

That is not the object of science. However, it has shown that a god is not necessary to explain the universe or life.

You are talking as if God were a fact. He isn't - he's a belief.

I don't see how you can have a debate without disagreeing about some things - and the result of disagreement is usually an argument, albeit a good-natured one.
