... Why won't Creationism go away? It's because all life is either through creation or evolution....
Why do you ume that it is all one way or all the other? What about the possibility that life itself was designed, but evolved thereafter? What about the possiblility that the designer created the body plans (phyla), but that these body plans then evolved?
What about the possibility that some biological processes are irreducible (blood-clotting, cellular digestion, etc) while others are not (the growth of the brain, appendage digits, etc)?
Does this disproving parts of evolution really prove your beliefs?
...If you don't believe in creation you are left with evolution and I'm fascinated some people can pound square pegs through round holes and proclaim, "see, it fits"......
True. But do you really think that the evidence fits into a 6 day creation scenario?
... It doesn't matter what you or I personally wish to believe for it won't change reality. What is real is that "...at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow...and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord...!" Philippians 2:10,11......
Some Christians adhere to the possibility that some forms of evolution may have occurred, meaning that parts of the bible need to be run figuratively, without affecting their faith. I am a Roman Catholic. Theistic evolution is considered to be acceptable, in our church. Why is this a problem?
... You and I will both do this regardless of what either of us believe.....
Apparently.
