If you mean by "explain away" that evolutionists would come up with some BS explanation to allow them to disregard hard evidence against evolution, the answer is no.

If you mean by "explain away" that evolutionists would come up with sound reasons why the objection is incorrect, then I would say yes.
Either that, or they would nodify the theory, or perhaps even abandon it.

There are no observations that would make creationists abandon their theory.
