When the New Testament went to Europe it was in Greek. When it went to Africa and Asia, it was in Aramaic. That the original language was Aramaic is evidenced by several verses that continued to be Aramaic despite the rest being translated into Greek. including "Talitha i" in Mark 5:41, "Ephphatha" in Mark 7:34 and "Maranatha," in 1 Cor. 16:22.

Ever wonder why "It is easier for a camel to p through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven" makes no sense? Why would anyone imagine a camel going through the eye of a needle? The Aramaic word for "rope" and "camel" are the same, and when the stupid Greeks translated it, they choose the wrong meaning.

Then again, in Matt. 27:46 the alleged words of Jesus (pbuh) in Aramaic is preserved, "Eli, Eli, lama sabach-thani," which means, "Allah, Allah, to what a purpose you have kept me". The Arabic word Allah is a proper noun of the Creator and predates Islam. It is used to refer to God by both Arabic Muslims and Christians. The Bible in Arabic uses the word Allah.

Even some of the early Roman "church fathers" admit that the Greek Matthew was from an original "Hebrew" (i.e. Aramaic) Matthew .Papias stated, that " Matthew composed the Utterances in Hebrew". Papias and Irenaeus in the second century, who were confirmed by Origen in the third and Eusebius in the fourth ( H.E. iii.39, v.8, vi. 25, iii. 24, v. 10 ), and some other early writers, repeat the evidence, or is in harmony with these 4.
Papias speaks of "the oracles" or "utterances" ( ta logia ) which Matthew composed; the other three speak of his "Gospel".
The testimony is uniform that the first gospel was written in Hebrew (by which we know that Aramaic is meant) by Matthew, the tax-collector. The Greek Gospel which has come down to us is a translation from this "Hebrew" original. See this link for a recent translation from the original. http://www.centuryone.com/4470-0.html

There are several other versions of the Bible available translated from the original Aramaic rather than the erroneous Greek:
Complete Jewish Bible, by by John K. McKee. Hebraic-Roots Version “New Testament” translated by James S. Trimm.

These "lost sayings" of Jesus (pbuh) were preserved in Aramaic and were translated from Aramaic into Arabic by al-Ghazali (died 505/1111). Translated from Arabic into English by Shaykh Ahmad Darwish The Mosque of the Internet. Try http://12.109.24.76/ (As-Shaykh Qaribullah Mosque, Wad Nubawi, Um Durman Province, State of Khartoum, Sudan) where it was posted at one time.

This area has become a hot topic amoung critical scholars, such as Robert Price of the Jesus Seminar. Now, I don't give a darn about what these w****s think, but even they are forced to concede that there was an original "Sufi Q" lost doent that preceded Islam all the way back to the first century, which Islamic authors used in some of their works. This startling admission is made in the book "Deconstructing Jesus" by Robert Price.

Here is another rare saying of Jesus.
"Iblis, (satan), came secretly to Jesus, the son of Mary, saying:
'Say there is no god except Allah.'
Jesus answered saying:
'It is a statement truth, but I do not say it following you.'"

Peace,
Akkad
