Hi Jessica: I love astronomy too! I just bought my first telescope and pair of binoculars recently. I live in suburban MD that has few lights and plenty of woods. Sounds like the country right? Sounds like a good place to do some skywatching right? Wrong. I'm learning that it takes only a few street lights to really wreck the view. I understand why they say it takes total darkness. I'ts good to know that there are other people outside at 2am besides me. Hope to hear from you soon. I just found this forum, but I'll be back. If you know of others, let me know.
