I am trying to find information on the history of the restoration of the Sistine Chapel. I rented a video but it seems to me that recently it was discovered that all the clothing painted on the freccos was painted on later and they restored the chapel back to the original Michelangelo paintings that were . Can someone please help me to find a site, book or article about this.
