Have you noticed that the best art in magazines is always in the ads? In fact a lot of magazines are following the practice pioneered by womens' magazines which contain tons of ads and only a trickle of copy. I wonder what the advertizers pay magazines these days? After all, If the public buys a magazine for the ads then the advertizers call the shots, not the magazine editors. I'm wondering if top advertizers, who have the most stylish ads, pay anything at all.
